Respawn CES brings collegiate eSports to the largest University Sports Festival in the region.

Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Respawn CES 2016 will be one of the biggest collegiate-level eSports events in the region, from the organizers of Respawn DXB 2015 and 2016. Featuring tournaments in the most popular eSports titles – Dota 2, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Call of Duty, FIFA and Street Fighter, witness players and teams from universities and high schools around the country face off to take home the grand prize.

Respawn CES 2016 takes place from November 14th to 19th, 2016 at BITS Pilani, Dubai Campus in Dubai International Academic City. Under the banner of the BITS Sports Festival 2016, students from more than 30 renowned institutes gather to celebrate the competitive spirit of sports from November 14th to 16th.

On November 18th and 19th, the event will conclude with five action-packed eSports tournaments featuring players and teams from around the country.

The PC Tournaments will be sponsored by MSI Middle East and Zowie by BenQ. The Console Tournaments will be sponsored by PlayStation Middle East, Turtle Beach, Hori and Capcom. With a total prize pool of over AED 9000, Respawn CES 2016 will be one of the largest collegiate eSports events in the Middle East.

  • Counter-Strike Global Offensive (5 v 5)
  • Call of Duty Infinite Warfare (4 v 4)
  • FIFA 17 (1 v 1)
  • Street Fighter V (1 v 1)

Registration is open to all students from universities and high schools and the entry fee for the tournaments is 20 AED per person. The event is completely free to enter for all spectators and guests, with giveaways and prizes to win every day.
